Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive SEND setting?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEND, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs and challenging behaviour?

Are you confident leading learning activities and delivering targeted interventions while developing your experience towards becoming an HLTA?

The school is committed to helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning through personalised support and a strong pastoral approach.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide one-to-one, small group and classroom support, lead learning activities, deliver targeted interventions and work alongside teaching staff to support pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant within a UK school
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour and additional learning needs
• Confidence leading learning activities and delivering targeted interventions
• Experience within a similar classroom support role, such as Teaching Assistant or HLTA
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A positive, proactive and resilient approach to supporting pupils
