The school follows a child-centred, trauma-informed and Thrive-based approach, placing emotional wellbeing at the heart of learning while helping pupils develop their confidence and independence.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide one-to-one and classroom support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder / ASD, including those experiencing high levels of anxiety and associated needs, helping to promote positive relationships, engagement with learning and meaningful progress.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder / ASD

• An understanding of supporting pupils with anxiety and associated additional needs

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team

• A patient, caring and resilient approach to supporting learners

• A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to get stuck in
