The setting promotes respect, resilience, teamwork, pride and courage, helping every learner develop their confidence and independence within a structured and supportive environment.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside teachers and the wider support team to provide tailored one-to-one and small group support, promote positive behaviour, encourage independence and help students engage confidently with their learning.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with autism and/or complex learning needs
• Experience within a SEND, specialist education or similar setting is desirable
• A caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students and colleagues
• A proactive and adaptable approach to working as part of a supportive team
