With a strong focus on belonging, care, guidance and positive partnerships, the school supports pupils to develop their confidence, independence and individual potential.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils with complex medical and health-related conditions, working alongside teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide personalised support, promote independence and help pupils access learning safely and confidently.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, ideally those with complex medical and health-related conditions

• An understanding of supporting pupils with a range of additional needs

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

• A caring, patient and compassionate approach to supporting pupils

• A proactive attitude and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
