Salary: £14.50 to £15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming small private day nursery in Central York to recruit a Nursery Practitioner. This friendly setting provides a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn through play and develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a permanent basis, working 2 days per week. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children throughout the nursery, delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework while helping to maintain a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
