Salary: £130 - £160 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a dedicated SEND school in Darlington that places a strong emphasis on pupil-focused learning and individual development. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential through tailored support and a nurturing ethos.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students with a range of additional needs, ensuring a safe, structured and supportive learning environment.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS
• Experience working within a SEND school or supporting students with additional needs
• Strong knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach
• A commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
