The Primary School are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who’s able to use their initiative and adapt their teaching style to meet the requirements of pupils with additional learning needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting children both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups delivering interventions whilst ensuring they’re kept safe and engaged with their learning. You will need to tailor the lesson to meet the needs of these individuals and build a good rapport with them.

The successful Teaching Assistant/ TA will have:

• At least 6 months experience or a minimum level 2 qualification
• Experience working with additional learning needs
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents
• Flexibility to work 08:30am – 15:30pm
